I graduated from a 2-year program in 2016 and completed my 1000 clinic hours in 2 different spas. Each with different practitioners with different modalities, theories, and skill sets.
After school, I settled at the Chiropractic Wellness Center in Drumheller, where the focus is primarily therapeutic massage and rehabilitation. I am forever grateful to those who shared their knowledge and years of experience.
After five years at the clinic, I began looking for ways to combine the comfortable, calming, and safe spa atmosphere with the high-quality, skilled practitioners that you would expect at a clinic. This has led to the way I choose to practice today.
I am dedicated to continued learning and staying updated with the latest techniques and knowledge in massage therapy.
I am certified in the following modalities: Hot stone, Cold stone, Sports taping, Myofascial release, Rapid upper body, Thai Massage, Static cupping, Dynamic cupping, Vodder lymphatic drainage 1-3. Chronic pain management (80 Credits): Trauma-informed care, MPS for scar release, and MPS for pain relief. Ultrasound. TMJ treatment protocols. I have a special interest in Migraines and neck pain management.
Beyond the physical aspects of massage, I am also dedicated to educating my patients about self-care practices and holistic health care.
My approach is always around creating a safe and nurturing environment where you feel heard and respected.
